What is Pythe?

An AI cofounder is software that works alongside you like a first hire at the top of the company, and gets the work done. Pythe is an AI cofounder that leads a team of AI agents, each with its own cloud computer. They research, write, build and publish sites, analyse data and draft outreach from your roadmap, and wait for your approval before anything goes out.

How it works

  1. Bring a link, a repo, or a few notes.
  2. Pythe writes up your company. You correct it, then it researches the market.
  3. You get a ranked plan for your stage.
  4. Hand a task over. The team does the work, and nothing goes live until you approve it.

Free is £0 with no card. Base is £29 a month. Premium is £79 a month.

Questions before you start

What can Pythe’s AI agents actually do?

Pythe is an AI cofounder, Pytheus, that leads a team of AI employees: a researcher, writer, engineer, analyst, outreach agent and operator. Each one has its own cloud computer, so it can browse real pages, run code, make Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PDF files, build and publish a website, analyse your data, open pull requests and draft outreach.

They work from your roadmap, brief each other in one chat, and hand finished work back to you with a short report of what they did. They can make mistakes, so you review what matters, and anything that leaves Pythe waits for your approval.

I already use ChatGPT or Claude. Why would I pay for Pythe?

Keep using them. A chat gives you an answer. Pythe gives you a plan for your stage and a team that does the work: it remembers your company between tasks, runs on its own computers while you are away, and returns a file or a draft instead of advice.

For example, ask for competitor research and you get a finished document built from real pages, with the task tracked against your plan. If you are away, Pythe can email you, send a push notification or message you on Telegram when work is delivered or needs you.

How is Pythe different from Cofounder (cofounder.co) and Grok Bot?

Cofounder (cofounder.co) and xAI’s Grok Bot are the closest products to Pythe: teams of AI agents for a startup. Cofounder aims to run startup functions such as growth, sales, finance and marketing, and is reported at $40 a month. Its agents are reported to handle only set kinds of work, and it gives every company the same fixed roadmap. Grok Bot is in beta, gives each agent its own computer, and is reported to need a premium xAI subscription, with usage drawn from a shared token pool.

Pythe is a flat £29 or £79 a month with a fixed allowance, and you can start with no card and get one free output before paying. Pythe builds a roadmap from your own company and stage, and its AI employees each have a computer where they can browse, run code and make files. Every email, post, pull request or publish waits for your approval. Competitor details come from third-party reports and change often, so check their sites. Our comparison posts show where each product is the better fit.

Can I keep using Cursor, GitHub and Slack, or do I have to move everything into Pythe?

Keep your tools. Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and ChatGPT can connect to Pythe, read your plan, hand tasks to your team and read the results. They can start work, but they cannot approve anything.

Pythe can also act in GitHub, Slack, Gmail, Google Drive and Calendar, HubSpot and Notion, using only the access you grant on each account. Claude Code and Codex run through your own signed-in subscription. Connect what a task needs and add the rest later.

What do I get when I sign up?

Add your website, a repo or a few notes. Pythe reads it, shows you the company details it found, and you correct anything wrong. It then researches your market and builds a plan for your current stage.

Your AI team then does one piece of work for free, such as a competitor brief or landing-page copy, and you review it. Building the plan costs no credits. Timing depends on the brief and on the services behind it, so we do not promise a finish time.

Do I need a card to start?

No. Sign up and you are in: no card needed. You get the plan for your current stage and one free output from your AI team.

When you want more, add a card to start a 3-day trial of Base or Premium. Your card is charged on day 3, and if you cancel before then you pay nothing. The trial applies to your first subscription only.

What do Base and Premium include?

Base is £29 a month: up to 3 AI employees, 100 AI credits, 15 hours of computer time, 2 computers at once and 5 new company plans a month. You can watch an agent’s screen as screenshots. Choose Base for a small team working through your plan.

Premium is £79 a month: up to 10 AI employees on bigger computers, 500 AI credits, 60 hours of computer time, 5 computers at once and unlimited new plans. You get a live view of an agent’s screen, takeover, and optional autopilot for a short list of actions you choose. Choose Premium when several pieces of work need to run at once.

Both bill monthly in GBP and VAT may apply. Pilot users pay £19 and £49 a month; to join, email daiwik@pythe.app.

What are credits and computer time, and what if I run out?

Credits pay for AI work: one credit is 10,000 tokens of reading and writing. Building a company plan uses none. Computer time counts only while an agent’s computer is working.

When either runs out, the next action stops and tells you. Nothing already made is lost. Credits refill each billing month, and a single task stops at its own credit budget so one job cannot use up the month.

What stops an agent from changing my code or contacting customers without permission?

Agents can research, draft and write files on their own computers. Sending an email, posting to Slack, opening a pull request or publishing a site waits for your approval. You can read the proposal and ask for changes instead of approving it.

By default every action asks first, and you can set a rule per action or per teammate. On Premium you can allow a short list of low-risk actions to run on autopilot. Publishing never does. Each finished run has a receipt of what the agent did, and a notification only opens the card, it never approves.

Models get things wrong. Read the code, the claims and anything a customer would see before you use it.

Will my idea, code and company data stay private?

Pythe does not sell your personal data or use your content to train AI models. Agents work on separate cloud computers, and connected tools only get the access you approve. You can disconnect one at any time.

The AI providers and infrastructure still process what a request needs, as the Privacy Policy lists. Share only what a task needs, and keep passwords and private keys out of prompts. You can switch off long-term memory.

Can I cancel, and what happens to my data?

Yes, from billing settings, at any time. You keep paid access until the end of the period.

After you cancel, your workspace is read-only for 30 days, with a reminder email 7 days before it is deleted, so you can resubscribe. Then the workspace is deleted. Your account and billing records stay. You can also delete your account yourself in Settings, which cancels the subscription first and removes your data.
