AI SDR Agent: Outreach That Waits for Your Approval
AI agents · The Pythe team · Updated 2026-10-12
How a Pythe outreach agent builds a qualified lead list, writes personal emails from a real signal and queues sends for your approval, never auto-spamming.
Spray-and-pray email is what gives AI outreach a bad name. A Pythe outreach agent works the other way: a small, qualified list, a reason to write to each person, and a send that waits for you.
How it works
- You say who you want to reach and why they would care.
- The agent builds a short list and records, for each person, the signal that makes now a sensible time, with the source link.
- It writes each email from that signal: one specific opening, one sentence of value, one small ask, under 120 words.
- It never invents facts about a person, and labels any guessed email address as a guess.
- Each send is queued for your approval from your own Gmail. Premium offers optional autopilot.
- It keeps the list as a CSV and can log contacts to HubSpot when connected.
Setting it up
Connect Gmail with sending enabled from Connections. Connecting a Gmail account does not change how you sign in to Pythe. Each email still waits for your OK.
Can an AI send cold emails for me?
Pythe’s outreach agent drafts them and queues each send for your approval. Premium has optional autopilot. You stay in control of what goes out under your name.
Does it make up details about people?
Its instructions are not to. It records the source of each signal and labels guesses, but you should still read each email before approving.
