What is Pythe?

An AI cofounder is software that works alongside you like a first hire at the top of the company, and gets the work done. Pythe is an AI cofounder that leads a team of AI agents, each with its own cloud computer. They research, write, build and publish sites, analyse data and draft outreach from your roadmap, and wait for your approval before anything goes out.

How it works

  1. Bring a link, a repo, or a few notes.
  2. Pythe writes up your company. You correct it, then it researches the market.
  3. You get a ranked plan for your stage.
  4. Hand a task over. The team does the work, and nothing goes live until you approve it.

Pricing

Free is £0 with no card. Base is £19 a month. Premium is £39 a month.

Questions before you start

What can Pythe’s AI agents actually do?

Pythe gives you a team of AI employees: a researcher, writer, engineer, analyst, outreach agent and operator. Each has its own cloud computer, so it can browse real pages, run code, make Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PDF files, build and publish a website, analyse your data, open pull requests and draft outreach.

They work from your roadmap, share one chat, hand work to each other and bring finished work back for your review. Pytheus, the AI cofounder, leads them. They can make mistakes, so you review what matters, and anything that leaves Pythe waits for your approval.

How is Pythe different from Manus, Lindy or Devin?

Manus is a general agent for varied one-off tasks, Lindy is a builder for workflow automations and Devin is an AI software engineer. Pythe is a standing team of AI employees, led by an AI cofounder, that works from your startup’s roadmap, so you are not starting from nothing each time or building agents yourself.

It has a free plan, and paid plans are a flat £19 or £39 a month, with no per-seat or per-credit charges. Competitor prices change, so check their sites. Our comparison posts show the reported numbers and where each product is the better fit.

I already use ChatGPT or Claude. Why would I pay for Pythe?

Keep using them. Pythe keeps your brief, your research, and your plan in one place, so a task starts from that context instead of a blank chat.

Ask it to research competing products, pick a messaging angle, and draft a test brief. Pytheus and the specialist agents work from your plan and bring the work back for you to review.

What do I actually get in my first 10 minutes?

Start with your website, a repo, or a few notes on what you are building and who it is for. Check the company details Pythe writes. Then it researches the market and builds a plan for your stage. You get research to read and tasks you can start.

From there, pick a task or give Pytheus a separate mission, such as researching a competitor or drafting landing-page copy. Free lets you try this before you pay. How long it takes depends on the brief and on whether the services are up. Ten minutes is a useful first session. Finish time is not guaranteed.

What stops an agent from changing my code or contacting customers without permission?

Agents can research, draft, and write files on their own cloud computers. An email, a Slack post, or a pull request waits for your approval, unless you have turned on Premium autopilot for that kind of action. You can read the proposal and ask for changes instead of approving it.

Connecting a tool gives Pythe the access you grant on that account. Connect only the accounts you want used, and leave approval on if you want to check each action. Models get things wrong. Read the code, the claims, and anything a customer would see before you use it. Autopilot is optional. It does not replace that read.

Why upgrade from Free, and should I choose Base or Premium?

Free is £0, with no card. You get one roadmap a month, your starting stage and the next, 25 one-time AI credits, and 60 minutes of computer time a month for Pytheus. Use it to see whether the research, the plan, and a first mission are useful.

Base is £19 a month. You get five roadmaps a month, every stage, 100 AI credits a month, up to three AI employees, and 15 hours of computer time. You also get group chats, and connected tools that act only after you approve. Choose Base when you want a small team researching, writing, or building, as well as planning.

Premium is £39 a month. You get unlimited roadmaps, 500 AI credits a month, up to ten employees, 60 hours of computer time, and up to five computers at once. You also get the live desktop view, and autopilot if you want connected tools to act without a check each time. Choose Premium when several pieces of work need to run at once. Credits pay for the AI work. Computer time is how long the agents run. Paid plans bill monthly. Annual prices on the pricing page are previews. VAT may apply.

Can I keep using Cursor, GitHub and Slack, or do I have to move everything into Pythe?

You can keep your tools. On every plan, including Free, Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or ChatGPT can connect to Pythe, read your plan, and save work back.

Base and Premium can also act in GitHub, Slack, Gmail, HubSpot, and Notion. Base asks you first. Premium can run those actions on autopilot if you turn that on. On paid plans, Stripe and PostHog can feed signals into the plan. Connect the tools a task needs. You can add the rest later.

I barely have spare time. Will Pythe take more effort to set up than it saves?

You do not need an agent setup, and you do not need to code. Give Pythe a link or a short brief, check the details, and pick one task. Connect more tools later. A first mission, such as a customer interview guide, is a better test than handing over the whole company on day one.

You set the goal, fill in what is missing, and review the result. The agents do the research and the drafting in between. Pythe will not promise a set number of hours back, and it does not replace your judgment. Start on Free. Keep it if the first piece of work takes something real off your list.

Will my idea, code and company data stay private?

Pythe does not sell your personal data, and it does not use your content to train AI models. Agents work on separate cloud computers. Connected tools only get the access you approve, and you can disconnect one when you want that access to stop.

The AI providers and the infrastructure still process what a request needs, as the Privacy Policy describes. Share only what the task needs. Keep passwords and private keys out of prompts, and read the policy for processing, retention, and your rights.
