Pythe

Run your AI team from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

Pythe has a remote MCP server at https://pythe.app/mcp. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Codex, sign in once and choose a company. Your own agent can then hand tasks to Pythe’s AI employees, follow each run, read the report and search the Library. Anything an employee sends or publishes still waits for your approval in Pythe.

What your agent can do

The server has 23 tools. The ones that matter most hand work to the AI team and bring the result back, so your own agent can delegate to Pythe and keep going.

  1. Call list_team to see who is on the team.
  2. Call assign_task with a clear brief. It returns a run id straight away and the employee keeps working on its own computer.
  3. Call get_run until the status is completed. It returns the report, the files and the Library items the employee made.
  4. If the employee asks a question, ask the founder, then call answer_run.
  5. If something needs approval, list_approvals shows it. The founder approves it in Pythe.

Safety

  • You sign in with OAuth and choose one workspace on the consent screen. Tools only reach that workspace.
  • There is no tool that approves an action. Emails, Slack posts and pull requests wait for the founder.
  • Tools that spend credits or computer time say so in their description, and assign_task accepts a key so a retry never starts the work twice.
  • Text read from the Library or memory is marked as untrusted, so an agent treats it as data, not instructions.

Connect

Server URL: https://pythe.app/mcp. In Claude Code run: claude mcp add --transport http pythe https://pythe.app/mcp. Codex, Cursor and ChatGPT take the same URL. The connect page has step-by-step setup for each client.
