Workspaces, members and invites
One workspace holds one company and one plan. Switch between them, invite teammates, and understand what is counted per workspace.
Updated 2026-10-13
A workspace is a single product. It holds a company profile, a plan, a team of AI employees, a Library and its connectors. Everything is scoped to it.
Create, switch and rename
- Open the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar to see your workspaces.
- Choose Create to name a new one. Pythe takes you straight to onboarding for it.
- Pick another workspace to switch. If you were on the landing page or in onboarding, Pythe takes you to Home.
- Rename a workspace from the switcher. Names are shortened to fit.
- Deleting a workspace asks you to confirm. Its plan and contents become orphaned.
What is counted per workspace
- Plan, credits, roadmap generations and unlocked stages.
- AI employees and computer time.
- Connectors, memory and the Library.
- MCP connections: each outside AI app is bound to exactly one workspace. See MCP: auth and workspaces.
Members and invites
You can invite people who already have a Pythe account. Search by email in the switcher (four or more characters), pick the person and send the invite. They see it in their sidebar and accept or decline.
| Role | Notes |
|---|---|
| Owner | The person who created the workspace. |
| Admin, editor, viewer, member | Roles that can be set for other people. Credit use is shown per member. |
Canvases have their own sharing: you can invite an editor to a single canvas by email without adding them to the workspace. See Canvas collaboration.
