Tracks and milestones

A plan is a set of milestones across seven tracks. Each milestone has a reason, steps, an effort, an owner, a priority and dependencies.

The operating plan is the part of Pythe you will open most. It lives on the Plan page and its content is stored with the workspace, so your agents and your connected AI tools read the same plan you do.

The seven tracks

TrackCovers
ProductBuilding, shipping and improving what you sell.
GrowthGetting attention and users: channels, content, launches.
RevenuePricing, sales, conversion and getting paid.
TeamHiring, roles and how work gets shared.
FundraisingDeciding whether to raise, and preparing to.
OperationsProcess, tooling, finance and legal basics.
CustomerTalking to users, discovery, feedback and retention.

Each stage weights the tracks differently. Idea is mostly Customer work. Early Traction leans on Customer, Revenue and Growth. Scale gives Revenue, Operations, Team and Fundraising equal weight.

What a milestone holds

How work is ordered

On the timeline view, the open stage’s milestones fall into four buckets.

BucketWhat it holds
Do nowActive and blocked work. Finish these before opening anything new.
Up nextThe highest-leverage milestones to start once the current ones close.
LaterQueued behind the items above.
ShippedCompleted this stage, kept for context.

Ordering uses status first, then priority, then effort, and always places a milestone after the ones it depends on.

Graduation criteria

Each stage also has a short list of graduation criteria that you can tick off, add to and remove. They are what you check before you move on.

Already shipped is already done

If your brief says the MVP is live, a leftover “Ship the MVP” milestone is shown as done and never reaches Today or reads as upcoming.
