Weekly review
Once a week Pythe reads what you did and what you avoided, asks three to seven questions, and re-sequences the plan. It never runs without your say-so unless you turn it on.
Updated 2026-10-13
The weekly review keeps the plan honest. It compares the plan with what actually happened and changes the plan to match.
What it reads
- Your company profile, goals and anything you have not achieved yet.
- Milestones completed, in progress and blocked, and the steps ticked.
- Metrics you have logged or connected.
The model must separate observations (things the recorded evidence shows, each naming its source and date) from recommendations (advice). A recommendation is never presented as something that already happened. This replaced an earlier version that invented “no signups” for a company with three pilot cafes.
What you get
- A specific summary of the week, with wins and risks.
- Three to seven questions tailored to your stage and to the work you did versus avoided. Questions are yes/no, short text or a choice.
- After you answer, a proposed adaptation: milestones added, modified and removed, plus changes to tasks and graduation criteria, each with a reason.
- You choose Adapt my plan or Continue as is.
When it runs
- A review becomes due a week after your last one, or a week after the plan was first made.
- Nothing generates it until you say so. Opening a page never spends credits unannounced. You can turn on automatic generation for a roadmap in your browser; it is off by default.
- Automatic runs are throttled to one per six days. Manual runs are not throttled, but an open review is reused rather than regenerated.
- A review costs about 0.25 credits.
Safe by construction
- Only one open review exists per roadmap. A unique index means two tabs cannot both pay for one.
- The row is reserved before the model is called. If the call dies, the reservation is released after three minutes.
- Usage is recorded once per generated review.
Past reviews are kept, newest first. Statuses are generating, pending, answered, adapted, continued and dismissed.
