Getting started
Can I start without a card?
Yes. Free needs no card and gives you a roadmap, Pytheus, 25 credits and 60 minutes of cloud computer time.
How long does the first plan take?
Setup is a few screens. The build itself researches your market and writes your next two stages. It runs on the server, so you can close the tab.
Can I change my answers later?
Yes. Edit the dossier, then regenerate the plan, or let the weekly review adapt it. Completed milestones stay.
What if Pythe gets my stage wrong?
Edit “Where the company is today” on the dossier. That answer decides your stage and so which work is planned.
The team
What can the team do without asking me?
Read, research, draft and write on their own computers. Anything that leaves Pythe waits for your approval.
Can an employee send an email without me?
Not unless you turn on autopilot for Gmail on Premium. Even then there is a daily cap, and a sign-off and opt-out line are added.
Can the team publish a website on its own?
No. Publishing always asks and autopilot never skips it. The approval is tied to the exact files.
Can Pytheus hire people?
It can suggest a hire, with a reason. You confirm with one click.
What if an employee gets stuck?
It stops and tells you what is blocked and the one thing that would unblock it. A run that ran out of steps or made only part of the job appears in Needs you, and you can carry it on.
Do employees share what they know?
Yes, through shared memory and the shared folder. You can see, pin and forget memory.
Computers
Is the computer really theirs?
Yes. Each agent has its own sandbox, with a folder of its own and a shared folder for the team.
Can I watch?
Yes. Base gets screenshots, Premium gets a live desktop and can take it over when a run is stuck.
Do computers have my passwords or tokens?
No. Connector tokens stay on the server. The one exception is a pull request’s single push, which is handed your GitHub token for that command only.
Your own AI tools
Do I need Base to use Pythe in Claude or Cursor?
No. Connecting works on every plan. Handing tasks to AI employees needs Base or Premium.
Can my agent approve what the team wants to send?
No. The server has no approval tool.
What is the server URL?
https://pythe.app/mcp. Use OAuth, and leave client ID and secret empty.
When should I use the REST gateway?
For server-side code and tools that cannot sign in with OAuth. It has 11 tools and uses a scoped key.
Money and data
What do credits cover?
AI work: research, plan builds, every agent turn, checks and drafts. 10,000 tokens is one credit.
Can I pay annually?
Annual prices are shown as a preview. Today, paid plans are billed monthly.
Do you train on my data?
No. Your content is never used to train AI models.
Can I delete my data?
You can delete items at any time and ask for your account to be deleted. Personal data is deleted or anonymised within 30 days.
