Pythe

Websites and Office files

Employees can build a site and publish it on Vercel after you approve, and make real Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF and CSV files with a preview you can open.

Websites

ToolWhat it does
website_createScaffolds a static, Vite, or Vite and React site in the agent’s files folder. The agent then replaces or adds files.
website_editChanges the site.
screenshot_pageTakes a screenshot of a page so the agent can check its work, and you can see it.
deploy_websitePublishes the site on Vercel and returns a live link.

Office files and data

The file tool is create_document. It makes .pptx, .docx, .xlsx, .csv, .md and .pdf. With a computer available it runs on it and renders the pages. Without one, it builds the file inside Pythe.

  • Every write is read back from the saved file. The counts and the preview you see come from what was saved, never from what the agent said it saved.
  • Each file is archived to your Library as it is made, so it already has its preview when the chat shows it.
  • edit_office_file changes existing Excel, Word and PowerPoint files.
  • read_document reads PDFs, Office files and images you attach.
  • analyze_data runs quick pandas analysis and makes PNG charts.
  • Models are delivered as real .xlsx with live formulas.

Checking before you see it

Placeholder text, malformed JSON or CSV, and missing counts are caught in code. See Quality controls.
